The online program allows you to organize your articles, proof your article content, and place your order with ease.
Simplify the process! All of your provided text for your newsletter is created in a word processing program BEFORE logging into your newsletter account. By doing this:
You are able to "spellcheck" your articles before placing them PLUS you can get a "character count" assuring your article will fit in it's designated space in your online newsletter.
There is NO NEED to retype articles sent to you by another source (your administrator, admissions, dietary, etc). Simply place their text in your word document, spellcheck and then copy/paste into Corwin's newsletter site.
If you wish to type in your article directly into Corwin's newsletter site, be sure to print out your article proof and check it very carefully as spellcheck is not available on the web.
Your Newsletter submitted online will include: 1 Main Article, 1 Secondary Article, 1 list of names with dates (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.), and 1 list with no dates (welcome new residents, etc.). We will place these articles where they fit best. If you need to send additional information to include with your newsletter, give us a call so we can make arrangements for you.
Your Management Team can be part of your permanent template created at Corwin. To make any changes to it, just email the changes to us (minor revision charges apply).
Your photos will appear on the back page of your newsletter if and where space permits. To send your photos, email your 100 dpi jpg format photos to with your faciity name and their appropriate caption. Photo Gallery upgrades (adding a page of photos to your order) are available for an additional fee. Please call for a quote.
For online Newsletters sent in by the deadline, Corwin can proofread your articles for obvious grammatical errors at no charge; however, Corwin is not responsible for any article content provided by you.
CREATING YOUR "MONTH AT A GLANCE" CALENDAR ONLINE
Corwin's "Month At A Glance" Calendar is created through www.MyCorwinCalendar.com and can be a stand alone calendar or it can be combined with your newsletter. Please refer to that site for more information about creating a Month At A Glance Calendar.
CREATING YOUR "WEEK AT A GLANCE" CALENDAR ONLINE
Corwin's "Week At A Glance" Magazine format is created through www.MyCorwinOnline.com and can be a stand alone calendar or it can be combined with your newsletter.
You enter your activity events and time slot in our calendar creator.
You can organize your recurring activities with our “activity organizer” located on the calendar creation page (eliminating the need to type in recurring events on each day).
You can make an event print in bold with one click.
If you are creating a Newsletter and Calendar on this site, you can specify "special events" while in calendar creation. Special Events can be placed on the back page of your Newsletter page (space permitting).
You can have up to 20 lines of events on each day (there is a character limit).
Each week of your calendar will print as one 8.5 x 11 page and all pages will print on 11 x 17 paper, fold and collate for your finished Magazine Format.
Your initial front page template is FREE and includes: your facility name, address, phone numbers, facility photo, logo and staff listing (if you request these items). We will need this information to start designing your template. Give us a call for pricing on revisions should you have any revision after your initial template is finished.
Each month, the Calendar template will include common holidays on their respected date and you will see the holiday and clipart in your finished product.
Any "white space" left over on any of your calendar pages will have a seasonal photo or clipart provided by Corwin.
Poster Upgrades are available.
Once we receive your calendar order online, Corwin will place your information on your facility's template, print and ship your order.
WHEN TO EXPECT YOUR ORDER
Once Corwin receives your online order, your newsletter and/or calendar will be placed into production and will leave our facility within 3 - 5 working days (not including holidays, weekends or any day Corwin may be closed due to inclement weather).
As a general rule of thumb, orders take up to 6 – 9 business days to arrive at your facility using UPS ground service. If you are providing your calendar order to merge with your newsletter, the date we receive your entire order is the date we start at to get your order to you within the 6 – 9 business day rule.
THE "WHAT IF" FACTOR
Orders received that are incomplete, have questions from Corwin, or are pending other information to complete the order (i.e.: you are also sending your calendar and it merges with your newsletter) will be placed on "HOLD" at Corwin until it is complete and ready to print.
If you have any special instructions for your order, you must indicate them on your order form. Corwin will make every attempt to handle your special request based on the nature of the request and the time required to do it. Please call us immediately if your request is URGENT so we can plan the arrival of your job with the special request.
If you wish to have part of your job shipped early, you must notify Corwin immediately to arrange this (i.e. ship calendar ahead of newsletter, etc.). Additional shipping fees will be added to your invoice for split shipments. If we do not have any instructions from you to split your job or ship parts of it, your job will remain on hold at Corwin until the entire job has been received at Corwin and is ready to ship in its entirety.
